Terms and Conditions

Guidelines for Your Hajj Journey with Shepherds

To ensure a transparent and smooth journey, please review our terms and conditions. These policies are designed to align with Saudi and Bangladeshi government regulations while providing you with the best spiritual experience.

1. Package Pricing & Currency Policy

  • Tentative Pricing: As the Saudi Government has not yet finalized official Hajj service costs, all package prices are tentative. Final costs will adjust according to the latest Saudi and Bangladeshi government Hajj Policies.
  • Currency Fluctuations: Package prices are subject to change based on the prevailing exchange rates of the Saudi Riyal (SAR) or US Dollar (USD) at the time of final payment.
  • Feature Finalization: Package details will be finalized gradually, taking into account budget requirements, official information, and valuable feedback from our clients, InshaAllah.

2. Flights & Travel Dates

  • Airlines: Flights will be on any government-approved carrier (Saudia, Biman, or Flynas) with Economy Class tickets.
  • Allocation & Splits: Flight dates are determined solely by the airlines. Pilgrims on the same package may be split into different flights based on seat availability. Everyone must abide by the airlines’ final allocation.
  • Tentative Dates: Travel dates are subject to moon sightings, airline scheduling, and Saudi authority arrangements.

3. Mina, Arafah & Hajj Day Logistics

  • Accommodation in Mina/Arafah: All packages include D-Category tents. If an upgrade is available, additional costs will apply.
  • Transport during Hajj Days: Packages currently do not include reserved bus services. If the Saudi Government makes reserved buses mandatory, the cost will be added to the package (e.g., in 2025, the cost was 30,000 BDT per person).
  • Catering: We currently provide Desi food via private catering. If the Saudi Government mandates the use of Saudi-based catering companies, food prices may increase accordingly.

4. Hotel & Accommodation Details

  • Distance Measurement: Distances are measured in a straight line from the Masjid courtyard (chottor) to the hotel.
  • Standard Hotels: Refers to Saudi Government-approved, non-star regular hotels.
  • Room Sharing (Packages C-D): Sharing a room with 2 or 3 persons is subject to room availability and hotel management allocation.
  • Aziziyah Stay: All packages include a 10–16-day Aziziyah stay. This includes 6 days of Hajj rituals and 4–10 days outside of the Hajj period.

5. Mandatory Requirements & Exclusions

  • Qurbani: Qurbani fees are not included. If Qurbani becomes a prerequisite for the Hajj Visa, pilgrims must pay the fee before submitting their visa application.
  • Short Package Requirements: All Short Package pilgrims (Short 1-5) must purchase separate return tickets to exit Saudi Arabia; these are not included in the base package price.
  • Biometrics: According to current regulations, biometric registration is mandatory for all pilgrims.

6. Sightseeing (Ziyarah) & Extra Trips

  • Ziyarah: Visiting historical sites in Makkah and Madinah is included in all packages except E, F, G, & H. Special arrangements for these packages may be made subject to Saudi regulations.
  • Additional Tours: Optional trips to Taif, Jeddah, Badar, or Museums can be organized at an extra cost.
  • Airport Transfers: Short packages include return airport transfers by bus. Private transport is available for an additional fee.

7. Communication & Policy Updates

  • Regular Updates: Clients will receive regular updates through our Hajj Training Sessions, Telegram Channel, and WhatsApp groups.
  • Right of Modification: These packages are based on initial government policies. Shepherds reserves the right to modify or withdraw packages due to significant unforeseen problems, ensuring a mutually beneficial solution for affected pilgrims.
  • Contractual Binding: Additional conditions apply as outlined in the Pre-Registration Forms, Registration Forms, and the Final Service Contract.
